About

Marc Hussner is a Dance Movement Therapist (M.A.) and Argentine Tango teacher with nearly two decades of experience in movement facilitation, creative expression, and somatic practices. His work bridges the worlds of dance, therapy, and mindful movement, offering a unique approach that integrates movement as a tool for transformation, connection, and well-being.
With a Master’s degree in Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from the School of Human Kinetics (FMH) at the Universidade de Lisboa, Marc combines academic knowledge with extensive practical experience. His expertise spans therapeutic, educational, and corporate settings, where he facilitates movement-based interventions tailored to diverse populations—from individuals seeking personal growth to teams and organizations aiming to foster collaboration and embodied leadership.
As an Argentine Tango teacher, Marc has taught internationally across three continents, guiding students in refining their movement quality, enhancing connection, and deepening their technical skill. His teaching is rooted in efficient body mechanics, presence, and musicality, helping dancers build confidence and fluidity in their movement. He has studied with some of the most renowned tango maestros, refining his approach through years of dedicated training and immersion in the tango community, including two years in Buenos Aires.
Beyond dance and therapy, Marc’s extensive background in meditation, martial arts, and somatic practices informs his holistic approach to movement in both therapeutic and educational settings. His studies provided him with a comprehensive understanding of biomechanics, movement analysis, pedagogy, and the psychological dimensions of movement, allowing him to integrate principles of focus, breath, and somatic awareness into his work. He ensures that movement is not just a physical act, but a pathway to mental clarity, emotional resilience, and personal growth.
In the corporate and event space, Marc designs tailored movement and mindfulness workshops that promote teamwork, communication, and stress management through embodied practices. His interdisciplinary approach ensures that each session is both engaging and impactful, allowing participants to reconnect with their physical presence and enhance their interpersonal dynamics.
Marc’s research and practice continue to evolve, integrating ongoing exploration of movement, pedagogy, and embodiment to ensure that his work remains dynamic, informed, and deeply rooted in both tradition and innovation.
